India Design Contest
India Design Contest - The eagerly awaited event of every fashion design student and enthusiast, IDC 2016 was held on 4th September 2016 at Kochi, Kerala, India. The contest aims to foster budding talent in fashion design and expose them to all aspects of fashion and allied businesses, showcasing and marketing their designs.
India Design Contest (previously known as 'Ensemble') initiative was introduced by Beena Kannan, an Indian Sari Designer and Top most women entrepreneur in India who is the CEO, House of Seematti which is the bridal-wear destination for South-India. This is the largest design contest only for the students of fashion designing and has been an annual event which is aimed at fostering the young talented designers and providing them with a forum where they could showcase their style and market their design. The last two years of the contest witnessed participation from all the prominent colleges of fashion technology across the country and also international representation. This year the contest presents a much more competitive and imposing platform for the students. The event will be judged by a panel of judges who are the top most professionals of fashion and design.
